Help! I've got a German Cockroach!

Have you ever walked in to your kitchen, turned on the lights and roaches scattered everywhere and you felt like the walls were moving? I am sure it is hard for some to imagine that a single species of insect can make life in a home unbearable. But German cockroaches can do just that.

So here’s a little info about German Cockroaches and their habits.

  • WHO:  Adults typically are light to dark brown with black stripes on their back.  You will also notice various developmental stages from egg, nymph, to adults at the same time and in the same location.

  • WHAT:  All developmental stages will feed on just about any item in your home include paper, glue, food, and water.

  • WHEN:  Small to moderate infestations are typically seen during varying times of the day but are most active at night (when the room is quiet and dark).  When heavy infestations are present, massive amounts of activity is generally seen all day long and throughout the night.

  • WHERE:  You will notice them primarily in kitchens and bathrooms, inside cabinets, appliances, and trash receptacles.

  • WHY:  There is no way to pinpoint where this species begins to invade your home but if you observe consistent activity……  Call the Eco Man to stop them!
